I made this research on Microsoft Word. I collect the magazine context pages from the internet then anaysised them using text boxes and arrows. Once finished I print screened each page and saved as a picture.
Research of existing music magazine contents pages
On this cotents page I think the pictures at the top in a row is a good way to organise the contents page. Not only does it seperate text but it gives the reader an insight to what will be on certain pages. I feel, this will be a good technique for my magazine.
On this contents pages I like the list of page titles down one side, this is a possible layout design for my contents page. Also, I think the editors note at the bottom of the page a really good way to make the magazine more personal to the reader- I think it is a good idea for a contents page. Finally, one more feature I'm considering to put on my contents page is the subscription advertisement.
